I read this book a long time ago and was always hoping it would hit audible. Also Melanie Hastings is terrific at her job. Though i keep thinking back to her milly the minotauress from the heartstone sage by archibald bradford

Not sure if it was the narrator or just the book itself that had me dragging my self to finish the book. Conversations didn't flow or feel natural(At one point i think the Mc makes a joke about his power and talks like a robot, but you cant tell the difference). The powers are boring and it takes more than half of the book for anything to actually happen. The relationships are so forced and cringe. I don't think I'll be reading the next book.

I'm not going to bomb the star rating because someone people like the series but it's not for me.

I like the story but the way it's read is a little odd it also moves extremely fast i don't really understand how someone could trust a government program so quickly

So far I’ve enjoyed the narrator for the women but the dude narrating for the men sounds robotic and almost like the first generation of A.I. generated content, the beginning is rather cringe with how they start dating…. Shoulda had it take a couple days and not near instantly, but that just my opinion
