I honestly don’t know how I feel about this. My feelings are so mixed up. I overall think it was a good story but it’s not my cup of tea didn’t enjoy it.

This book is such a dark, emotional audible. It tore my heart out so many times. I felt bad for liking Liv even though she did not choose to do any of this. I felt terrible for everything that that she went through. Then later finding out what she did. I definitely did not see that happening. She is such a strong amazing character. I loved Josh from the beginning. He was not willing to back down or give in. He put up with a lot in his capitivty and came out stronger foebit. I love how he was able to trust and see through Liv. The ending was perfect. This is the first book of Pam Godwin's that I have read or listened to but will definitely listen to more.

Teddy Hamilton did amazing narrating Josh. He brought out his strength and personality. Abby Craden also did an amazing job with Liv's voice and all the others. I would love to listen to these narrators again!

The darkest book I've ever read. Trigger warnings EVERYWHERE so be warned. Scary, scary narrative. The flawless narration only intensified all the graphic and disturbing twists and turns.

This book had me from start to finish. It was dark, beautiful perfection. I absolutely love Josh!! Liv was such a beautiful soul dressed and forced into a life she never deserved.

It was violent, with BDSM, verbal and physical abuse, rape, I almost stopped listening to it. But then the characters came to life and I understood their psychological needs and weaknesses. It was read by two of my favorite narrators, keep up the good work. This is the first time I read A book from the author Pam Goodwin. II wonder if all her other books are as dark as this one. I will most definitely keep reading thee series.
