I guess you could say I was a damsel in distress, and he was my knight in shining armor. But more accurately, I was a girl with a lot of bad luck, and he was a guy with a lot of muscles and tattoos.

Jude "Lucky" Lucketti wasn't just a sexy, brooding construction worker. He was my own personal hero, showing up in all the right places at the right times. Like when my car broke down and I needed a ride home, and when I face-planted on the sidewalk right in front of him and had to be taken to the emergency room.  

We became friends, and it didn't matter that he was 16 years older than me. We had a lot in common - like our love of old rock music and vintage fast cars and our aversion to relationships.  

When he approached me with a crazy idea to help me out with my many problems, I couldn't say no.  

The arrangement was supposed to be temporary. A marriage on paper and nothing else. It should've been easy, but it wasn't. Because here I am, 18 years old, still in high school, and married to a man I was never supposed to fall in love with.  

We had just one rule - no kissing the bride. But we broke that rule, and it sealed our fate forever.

This story was absolutely amazing. I loved it from the first word to the last. How much greater could Jude have been. *SWOON*!!!! Desiree and Aiden did perfect with the narration. I definitely feel a re-listen in the very near future .

5 stars all the way! a delicious age gap romance describes it well. It really shows you a side to eating disorders and the filthy side of hoarding. Sparkles & Lucky 🥰🥰 definitely had their struggles but I like that it wasn't just all about their physical chemistry ( but yessssss they did have their steam . I forgot how much I love Carian Cole books. narration was perfect as well.

I love how beautifully tragic this book is throughout the conflicting emotions of 2 people who were just needing validation and acceptance. It was steamy HOT and emotional at the same time-the best combination in my opinion! Narration goes without saying-Aiden Snow’s swoony sexy voice and Ketchum, spot on!

This is my first Carian Cole read and really enjoyed this story. It was a well developed plot that went beyond just having the MMC and FMC get together for an HEA. I liked the different approach on the marriage of convenience trope as well. A few surprises, twists and turns kept me engaged. The dual narration by @desireeketchum and @aidensnowvoice was excellent! Overall, I loved this story and have added her rockstar series to my TBR!
