You might think she’d be handy to have on a desert island, being a survival enthusiast and all, but if you cross her, then you’ll be in for a world of hurt. Just remember, you catch more flies with honey…

On the podcast this time, Steven and Sean are turning our lives around and taking down the bad guys. We watched the 2004 film from Stephen Chow, Kung Fu Hustle.

In life, when faced with the choice of whether to be a force for good or succumb to the evil in the world, we hope that you’ll choose the former. We’ll all be better off for it.

Consider the story of Sing from this movie: down on his luck, he falls in with a bad crowd. A real bad crowd. Instead of giving into his worst instincts, he discovers how rewarding the other path can be. And he basically gets superpowers. Sounds like a good trade-off to me.

On the podcast this time, Steven and Sean are just trying to get even a little bit ahead in this life for once. We watched the 2019 film from Bong Joon Ho, Parasite.

Who’s really to say that the Kim family is wrong to do everything they did to the Park family in this movie? I’m certainly not advocating for any of the violence depicted here, but man, people gotta eat.

At the very least, nobody should have to live in a home that fills with sewage whenever there’s a particularly bad storm. That’s demeaning as hell! Suffice it to say, this move is great and eat the rich.
