Probably best known to Brettons for his role as Sir Reginald Musgrave in The Musgrave Ritual, Michael acted in numerous roles in film, TV, radio and on the stage including A Passage to India, Game, Set and Match, and notably, Star Wars - The Empire Strikes Back, as Captain Needa. Later in life, he was known for being a staunch anti-war activist and supporter of the well-known peace campaigner, Brian Haw. Michael Culver died on February 27, 2024 at the age of 85.
