There are always upcoming sequels to talk about. Tubi has been kicking ass and taking names. But for all the awesome older content on the channel, people tend to forget that it does have original programming. Last year’s R.L. Jennifer’s Body is one of the most interesting movies of the 21st century. Released during the height of Megan Fox’s popularity, the marketing centered around her and a possible lebsian plotline. The Yeti is filled with flamboyant personalities, some good gore, and decent creature effects. But in between all of this, there is a lot of talking. It is not bad, but it is as if the movie is trying to be way more serious than it needs to be. Is that enough reason to pass on it, though?
