CAN YOU STOP A MURDER WHEN IT'S ALREADY HAPPENED?

THE BOOK EVERYONE HAS BEEN TALKING ABOUT

It's every parent's nightmare.

Your happy, funny, innocent son commits a terrible crime: murdering a complete stranger.

You don't know who. You don't know why. You only know your teenage boy is in custody and his future lost.

That night you fall asleep in despair. Until you wake . . .

. . . and it is yesterday.

Every morning you wake up a day earlier, another day before the murder. Another chance to stop it.

Somewhere in the past lie the answers, and you don't have a choice but to find them . . .

Critic reviews

A spellbinding "whydunnit" . . . A novel with a difference. Richly layered, it makes other psychological thrillers seem thin and unimaginative
It's perfection, every word, every moment. A masterpiece . . . I had my mind blown apart. After I finished it I sat with my mouth hanging open in awe. One of the best books I've ever read (Lisa Jewell)
WOW 5 STARS! I can't get over how clever this book was. (FREIDA MCFADDEN)
Skilful, satisfying. McAllister handles her Liverpool-set twist on Russian Doll and Groundhog Day with great skill. Tightly plotted . . . Don't miss it
A mind-bending page-turning thriller. Non-stop thrills right from the start. A rare gem (Steve Wright)
Wow. Amazing! Loved every page . . . If you are looking for a summer read, I've found it! (Holly Willoughby)
Another ingeniously plotted genre-bender . . . McAllister succeeds in making us care, and the result is a tour de force
Extraordinary (Harriet Tyce)
Wrong Place Wrong Time is a masterfully plotted and ingenious psychological thriller told in reverse. Gripping and full of surprises, it's one of the best books I've read this year
It's absolutely AMAZING. The plot is astonishing - original and ingenious (Marian Keyes)

I was hooked from the beginning. The book kept me guessing throughout and the twist was excellent.

Unexpectedly clever and well written book with a compelling storyline that really pulled me in. Had someone told me I’d enjoy a book involving one of the central themes (trying not to spoil things here!) I’d have been decidedly sceptical, however this was SO well done that I found it fascinating, rather than implausible.

Narration is excellent and although this was the first book I’d read by this author it certainly won’t be my last.

What a great book!

This is probably the best thing I have heard in close to a decade listening to Audible. The story is gripping and incredibly well thought out, the performance is excellent and it is really thought provoking about the various paradoxes of time travel. Bravo!

A truly excellent listen!

This is an interesting take on solving a crime - lots of twists and turns. Lots to think about. I loved it!

I never write reviews but felt compelled to after listening to this book.
I loved it. Compelling and original story which just keeps bringing surprises. Just when you think you’ve figured out the twists another one comes along to add a layer.
Alongside the story is great characters you really feel invested in. A couple of times I had to pause the book to think about what they had said, musing on life, death, motherhood, family expectations. Could be quite heavy topics but came out as moments of reflection.
Performance wise nothing t fault the accents helping to build believable and rounded characters and bring them to life.
Would highly recommend
