Great story line! Keeps you on your toes and has several surprises. I have read hundreds of similar book but this is one of my fave. I definitely recommend :)

This is the second book I’ve read by this author. The first was Be with me, which made me want to read her other books. This was well written, really good pacing and the story isn’t as cliche as some other books in this genre can be. Her female characters have a lot of depth and back bone. It is a standalone but the ending makes you want to find out what will happen next. I’m definitely going to continue this series.

Really good mafia romance

So, I have read quite a lot of Mafia romances. This one is so good. Interesting differences from other books. And, the mafia stuff is super believable. Some very highly rated mafia romances make absolutely zero sense from the mafioso’s perspective (making really dumb security decisions or just connections to the mafia life that are completely implausible). This one was great. Believable but also fresh. Loved it. Can’t wait for the next story in this series!

FYI, seems like the general plot from this will continue throughout the series, but this couple’s romance appears to conclude here. No cliff hangers. But I still want to know what happens next!
