As an optometrist who has owned her practice for 15+ years, and worked with a (different) consultant for about 10 of those years, I still took 8 pages of notes! It is easy to get complacent in practice management, but this book will give you a fresh perspective. Dr. Steele has a unique philosophy different from most practice consultants out there. From putting your team first, to using metrics to make projections and decisions about your business instead of only analyzing what already happened, to simple, powerful communication techniques to use with patients- every practice owner OD will come away with at least one new action item to implement. The audiobook format gives you a bit more storytelling and conversation vs the written format (I know- I got both!).
