The story is entertaining, interesting, engaging, enjoyable, heartfelt, well written, wonderful characters development, and more. The authors writing style is absolutely beautiful. I want to start with that because for me, the way an author writes is just as important as the story itself. There some authors that just stand out, and even under a different pen name, you know it’s them. That is the type of unique writing style Ted Laughton has.

With that said and out of the way, let’s get to the review.

You will find yourself absolutely immersed in this book. He is descriptive and detailed. Not overly so to the point where his descriptions are drawn out, but just enough where you can easily visualize it all without losing interest.

The characters are intriguing, the plot is fantastic and it is written at just the right pace.

Only thing I didn’t care for was the narrator.

I haven’t come across writing like this in a long time.
