I really enjoy "period" novels which transport me to another time. Author and narrator were successful at letting me enjoy an earlier time in America's West.

I love how history comes to life in these books. Tge characters that Ross created have so much depth. Great story as are all of them in the series. On to thd next one!

Another great book in the Wagons West series

Mr. Gigante's performance, including his interpretation of female character voices, makes this set of stories both restful and entertaining, and makes their occasional stereotypes quite easy to overlook. I know I'll be listening to the whole series.
