This is an interesting collection of short stories with some chapters that connected. There are different characters and worlds that give the listener many adventures but make it hard to truly immerse oneself into the stories and enjoy them. Narrator F.C. McAllister does a good job with the narration and keeps the listener engaged. I was given this audiobook in exchange for an honest review.

this is a very strange, disjointed story. many of the bits at the start don't seem related to what eventually becomes the story, even after finishing the book
