Roaming the country, stealing from farmers and ranchers and brutally slaughtering innocent people, the Axel Jennings gang is ruthless and without remorse. When Nash Marten, a single man who lives on Red Mountain, north of Silverton, Colorado, receives word that his parents in Missouri have been killed by the Jennings Gang, he embarks on a journey of revenge. Along the way, he meets a woman named Audrey Allen, whose husband and son were also murder victims of the gang. Audrey has vowed to avenge her family. The two of them decide to work together, but traumatized Audrey doesn’t quite trust Nash and they struggle to be a team. After a falling-out, Nash finds himself again alone and comes upon a horrific scene where a family has been slaughtered by the gang. He discovers a twelve-year-old girl still alive and hiding under a pile of hay in a barn’s hayloft. The girl has no other relatives and Nash takes her into his care, despite the concerns of the townspeople who feel a single man should not be raising a young girl. The girl uses her cunning and wit to stay with Nash, who adopts her and watches her grow into a beautiful young woman who is deadly with a gun. The two have many adventures and Nash finds himself facing difficult decisions between the best interest of his new family and his own ambitions. The thirst for vengeance will not be quenched until the Jennings gang is killed, but Axel Jennings escapes and is never heard from again... or is he? Action & Adventure Genre Fiction Westerns

Good story line. Also Enjoyed how the ugly duckling got the girl of his dreams.

The inner strength of the main two characters.

The Virtual Voice narrative is not very good. A human narrator would be much better.

The story is unbelievable, not in a good way. It is stilted and silly in many ways.

Not to Good
