1/3 of the way through and so far every story is told from the view of judeo-Christian ideology, one story even mentions interacting with “lucifer” and “mother mary”.

Idk why this book seems to be a bunch of cherry-picked experiences trying to reinforce this model/ideology. Anyone who’s studied or at least consumed a lot of NDE stories knows that the scope and truth of our existence goes so much further than any one religion. I don’t hate Judeo-Christian ideology but I don’t think a subject this big and important should be mired in the baggage and historical problems of any single religion.

Religion has been the cause and excuse for so much war and bloodshed and suffering upon this earth, a book about our true larger reality shouldn’t be connected to any existing human-made religious belief system.

3 stars because I can’t return it and because there is absolutely no indication of this book’s religious leanings in its description and I find that misleading.
