I loved the female leads narration and enjoyed how the story flowed and did not get too stuck on filler scenes. I loved some of the emotional scenes especially ones with Dimitri. The cliffhanger is killer but I'm not mad about it.

This brings me to the hard part. The male leads audio narration (just 3 chapters) did not fit and as a result I was fully pulled out of the book when he had chapters and also partly ruined Carter's character for me. That is not to say that Carter can't be redeemed as I love a brooding shy mmc.

Overall, I would reccomend and will be listening to the sequel.
