As long as it's well executed, there isn't a blooming thing wrong with "formula"! Good formula entertains & the best sells something. And this yarn easily falls into the later category. I would love to see Charles G West revisit this family. In fact you could've called the 3 brothers in this story Adam, Hoss & Little Joe!

This is a good western. Roberta gets the Mcloud brothers to help her find her uncle. But there is other people who wants to find him because they think he has found gold. She is wanting all the gold and will do anything she has to do to get it. This is a five star Western In my opinion. This is a movie in your mind style of book with several narrators. (Dramatized).
