Could be me, but I feel like this prequel needed its own prequel. It unpacks a lot of storyline. The are rich backstories for Sonya and Teri introducing several characters that are pivotal in their lives. I look forward to following these women in their dramatic, angst filled friendship. Waiting to see if they will embrace the possibilities of more.
