Josie Adams creates another gorgeous universe full of distinctive detail that absolutely delights me to no end. I've listened to her other title, The Tea Shop so many times and never tire of it.

This new title has such a unique lead character- I will never look at a street light the same way again. Thank you, Josie for another wonderful title!

I’ve run across this in previous books. I never made it through. Sibilance in audio is characterized by the repetition of harsh, hissing or hushing sounds – specifically "s," "sh," "z," and "ch” and often need reduction via de-essers, as they can cause listener fatigue. It can be a problem in recording music as well. I’ve learned to intently listen to Audible’s sample audio. As I always say, each to their own… my opinion.
