I appreciated the expression of “grey” alliances in this novel. There can be good enemies and bad enemies. There can also be good friends and bad friends. Fortunately the friends are all good (depending on the identity of the “hooded man”) or else I would have been a bit heartbroken.
Many good character arcs seen in acts of “illogical” love, redemption, justice, and loyalty. I’m only sad that it came to an end
