This is the exciting conclusion to the best-selling collection by medieval master author Kathryn Le Veque.

1258 AD - Tiberius, the youngest de Shera brother, falls in love with the lovely Lady Douglass, the daughter of an enemy knight. But love knows no boundaries as Tiberius and Douglass find themselves swept up in the politics of Simon de Montfort against Henry III, and Tiberius' loyalty is soon called into question. Is he still siding with de Montfort or has he decided to follow his heart and, therefore, the enemy? It soon becomes a game of espionage, honor, and family loyalties as Tiberius must choose what's more important to him - de Montfort's cause or Douglass' love.

Overall, I enjoyed this series. Some parts were full of suspense and surprises, some were full of addled brained females. Not a very steamy series-that is my complaint. I did enjoy the history behind the stories. Narration was pretty good, although at times the narrator fumbled between the tone of the brothers, which made it challenging to distinguish who was speaking.

Full of High’s and Lows

the brothers got to choose their wife's but Max force his son to married a stranger and how convenient that he (the son) ends up liking her. I loved the series, except for that part.

Lots of tension and historical information for the history nuts like me. Plus good character development to make the romance an important part of the story.

This was the best of the series

Medieval romance at it's best...very turbulent historical times. So many interconnected complicated familial ties alongside the unbreakable ties of friendship makes for an amazing story.

So many complicated connections..

Gethyn Edwards did a fantastic job of narrating The Thunder Lords series. The story of the three de Shera brothers and their love for one another is timeless.

Great audio series
