When the old Starlite Drive-In is slated for demolition to make way for luxury condos, Clara’s ready to channel her inner superhero (cape optional) to stop the slick-talking developer behind the plan. Jason Reed might have devastating good looks, but his idea of “progress” is about as charming as a pothole in spring.

But just when Clara thinks she’s got the upper hand, the mayor forces her and Jason to co-lead Maple Ridge’s Spring Beautification Project. A week-long community initiative where they’ll be planting flowers, painting fences, and (hopefully) not killing each other with garden tools.
