The next book in the spellbinding urban fantasy from New York Times bestselling author and TikTok sensation Piper CJ.

It's only the end of the world....

Reeling from shattered trust and caught between the truth and the love of her lifetimes, Marlow finds herself facing down the apocalypse...not as its victim, but as its very catalyst. She's ready for the end times, and she has officially declared herself an enemy of Heaven. Gathering allies across realms and pantheons brings new tantalizing twists and passionate nights as more and more figures step out of mythology to fight to the end.

With the stakes higher than ever and every world at risk, Marlow must determine once and for all who she needs on her side—and who she can trust to stay there as she tears it all down. Enemies new and old close in, and the lines between love and hate blur. And in the end, it might just be the power of Marlow's own realm, the power of human belief, that can turn the tide before it's too late.

Contains mature themes.

The No Other Gods Series is hands down my favorite series I have ever read, and I am in awe of the research and vulnerability that Piper CJ puts into her books. I am 100% not ok with the ending, and I don’t know how I will function until the next book. I actually finished the book in one day yesterday, but I could not form words to write the review. I listened to the audiobook, and Luna Rey does a fabulous job with this series. I also followed along with the ebook so I could highlight most of the book. I did get lost a few times just listening. Paperback? I have them. Those are my shelf trophies. This book is once again rich with mythology that makes me excited to go and research more about the pantheons mentioned. Marlow is full on ready for the apocalypse, at least most moments she is. I have held a grudge against the angel, but things definitely melted my icy heart. Mostly. The new characters you will meet I ADORE! Women’s rights and rethinking how a certain character is depicted in history was something to think about. As someone that grew up in the church, Piper really hits the emotions that you still can go through even after so many years. I want to add to many quotes, but they would all potentially be spoilers, so I will need to comb back through with a re-read to see if I can find some that do not give away too much. I would give this book a million stars if I could. Yes, this review is all over the place. I told you I was not ok at the end of the book. Go grab your copy today. I’ll wait. We can discuss together in messages on IG.

I was ready for the apocalypse, but not ready for this ending!

Such an interesting series I love how the author turns norms on their head while building and traveling through this world. This 3rd book is captivating, I absolutely loved it.

Sooo great!!! I love the unique storytelling.

You know when you finish a book and you feel like you are lost? Like you can't imagine what you're going to do now, because you were so immersed and you can't wait for the next one?! This book gave me that feeling worse than any book I have ever read. I need to start over and reread this series to fill the hole in my soul again until the next one. Piper CJ carries us through the main storyline but brings us back to relevant scenes from Marlow's past, giving us more context and building even more love for the characters. We meet gods from more pantheons, there is humor, there is very real and relatable hurt, and somehow I find myself rooting for characters I never thought I would like. The character development and world building is unmatched. I don't even know what else to say, just read this and the rest of Piper's books she is better at words than I am.

Best. Book. Yet.

I binged this series in less than a month (which is about 45 hours of content). Excited for the next!

So freaking good!

I was so torn up this whole book just to have hope (and my heart) shattered. Then Piper gives us a glimmer of hope again in the final pages. I need installment 4 ASAP!

Desperate for more
