This is the first book about startups I've read/listened to that actually offers great practical advice.

Most books about start-ups are bloviating self-aggrandizing anecdotes that make useful information difficult to parse out.

I work in the SaaS space and can validate that a good amount of what is in here is correct. What I cant validate is outside the scope of what I do, but make sense.

I'm a software engineer, and I think the author comes from that same background, so maybe thats why the book resonates with me; others' mileage may vary. Whatever your background though, this has great information in it. There is little to no coding talk in this work, so you dont need to be a coder to get value from it.

First startup book that was actually useful.

I really liked how Rob explains everything in simple terms, with little stories to illustrate the concepts and lessons.

The book is also easy to navigate whenever I need to go back to it because the chapters are super clear

Short, to the point, and useful

Rob Walling’s content is always succinct and actionable, and based on firsthand experience in the trenches with his own and the companies in his orbit. Recommended reading for SaaS founders, especially those in earlier stages of their entrepreneurial journeys.

Practical, actionable, great advice for SaaS founders.
