The storyline wasn't my cup of tea.
I still really like this Author. But this novella wasn't my favourite. I'm impressed with how she can build great characters in such short stories.

I was listening to this while on the treadmill, I was planning to break it into 2 sessions but was so involved in the story that I finished it all in one session.

This author has been a favourite of mine since discovering her a year ago and I have yet to be disappointed in any of her works. She writes wonderful strong female characters and manages to weave a storyline that successfully walks the line between taking you away to another world without being unrealistically outlandish. I loved both Sam, Felicia and this intriguing new story.

This is my second book narrated by Amelia Patricks and listening to her voice is starting to feel like getting a call from an old friend.

I would definitely recommend this book.

I enjoyed this story quite a bit. I don't typically read adventure books, so this was a welcome change of pace.

It’s a nice short listen. easy to fit in in an afternoon. The whole story is interesting and keeps a decent flow. The narrator is pleasant and easy on the ears.
