The Replacement may be a short story, but it absolutely delivers.
For such a quick read, it packs a surprisingly big punch. The story is full of twists and turns, and just when you think you've figured everything out, it throws another curveball that completely changes your perspective. Then, just when you recover from that twist, there's one final reveal that leaves you thinking, Wait... what?!
At its core, this is a story of revenge, secrets, and consequences. It's fast-paced, entertaining, and never wastes a page.
If you're looking for something you can finish in one sitting but still want that satisfying "I didn't see that coming" feeling, I definitely recommend giving this one a try.

The ending was not predictable. That gives value to the story. I'm not certain this could happen in real life. Hollywood seems vicious and dog eat dog on the regular. It wasn't horrible but it needed a little originality would be helpful.

I bought this because I have read most everything in the Liv Constantine library. I should have waited until it went on sale as I used a nearly $10 credit on a 1 hour and 13 minute story. The story was just OK and now that I have read so many Liv Constantine stories/books, it was their basic formula.
