I just couldn’t engage. The storyline is a throw back to Agatha Christie but without the interesting characters. The reader’s voice was not my cup of tea and his execution of Yorkshire accents was sad. I listenes to it because I lived in the district and it was nice to revisit familiar locations.

The story is very good. The narration is excellent. An enjoyable book read by a very skilled narrator. Ellis is always an excellent writer. Can’t wait for the next!!

And a baffling mystery which takes you to a lovely quaint scene in Yorkshire. But things keep happening that belie the seemingly quiet peaceful location. Great story!
