Devaughn Moore had transformed...

No longer the bad kid who ended up a juvenile delinquent, his life is devoted to the ministries.

And by his side is his beautiful and loyal wife Gabrielle. She stands by him through it all. But when she receives a phone call from one of their young female members, she goes running.

The woman answers the door holding a child with eyes like her husband. The young woman tells dark tales. Secrets that would destroy him... her ... everything they've built! .

Gabby wants to know who she's married to. The things the woman said could not possibly be true. But things get heated when she snoops through his things and finds a treasure trove of disgusting proof. Evidence of every sinful deed. He is the devil himself. And she vows to stop him!

But Devaughn is two steps ahead of her. He manipulates her emotionally. He warns her to stop. And when she doesn't, he does the unthinkable!

What did he do...

Something unfathomable!

I enjoyed this book.
what I didn't like was the fact that many women never received the justice they deserved.

The preacher was a he actually had a conscious in the end.

The flatness of the AI narration was too much to overcome. The story had potential, but it was too distracting to have the tones needed in the dialog missing. I hope AI narration doesn't become a trend because that would likely end my enjoyment of audio books.

If the author re-records this using a human who understands when and what to emphasize when storytelling, I would definitely come.back to listen!

I couldn't get beyond the AI narration

The story was ok but the ending was ended like the author just said forget I'm tired of doing this. if there is a part two then they need to group it together as a series book 2 of 2 etc.
