Once I got all the players straight, I was hooked. I figured out Andrea and Eric. I was totally off on Katie and Mark. I felt sorry for Sara. I enjoyed the ending for everyone but Andrea. I wanted her to have more.

A R Torre is one of my favorite authors. I liked that this book had her signature “grossly rich characters” and opulent setting. However I don’t feel like we got to know the characters enough. It also wasn’t as twisty or crazy as her other books. Lastly, the narrator was giving AI. Either that or she weirdly pronounced a lot of words. She sounds like her throat is sore the whole time.

Did not feel like an AR Torre book at all. Many questions unanswered. Felt corny. Kind of fun to read but ending was lame.
