Monica has just discovered she is not able to conceive, and her husband, Nate, wants a divorce so he can start the family he’s always dreamed of. However, he does not want Monica to get half of his considerable fortune, so he hatches a plot that will cause her to violate the fidelity clause of their prenuptial agreement. Will he be able to orchestrate Monica’s fall into temptation? Essence best-selling author RM Johnson spins a riveting tale of love, money, and betrayal.

I read this series a few years back, and decided to revisit it. Truly enjoyed this story. The only “negative“ is the narrator swallowing while he was talking. For me it became very obvious, and it would pull me out of the story.

Even better the second time around!

What three words best describe Kevin Free’s voice?

He was good, but towards the end of the book seems like he was tired or had a cold. You could clearly hear him swalloring, seem like he was out of breathe or his nose was clogged up it was kind of irritating.

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?
