This was the best and my favorite novella out of not only ghost of the shadow market but the best out of all of Cassandra Clare’s novellas. I obviously loved Malec and this was at its prime in this novella. I just love how this answers the question of how Alex found raphael. This was a great short story. Lots of plot twists and action packed in. it's always nice to get Alex's point of view, he has a very different mind set than the rest of the characters. I love how much he loves Magnus and what he wants to do for downworlders in general. He is by far one of my favorite characters.

All I have to say, is reading/listening to a story told from Alec's point of view was amazing. The reader did an amazing job acting out everything in the book. The only thing I wished more of would be the interaction between Malec; however, it was so cute how Alec talked about Magnus or missed him, and vice versa that I cannot complain.
