Holmes and Watson continue to develop as characters, and as is their relationship. I am so impressed with the way these stories weave elements of the original stories and characters into new tales. I can't express how much I like these and hope more will be available on Audible soon. Jacqueline de Boer does a perfect job narrating.

These characters are growing on me, especially as Irene Is becoming more sensitive, at least to Joe. Joe’s character opens up about his weaknesses, and demonstrates some of his strengths. And so their partnership and friendship deepens.
The mystery, reminiscent of a famous one in the Canon, is interesting and except the untenable initial premise for the crime, but that’s a minor quibble.
