I am definitely a fan of Father Tom audiobooks. Start to finish I loved this sequel. Murder mysteries are my favorite genre and this one is another home run. The narration is so excellent that it’s hard to take a break. You’ll find yourself listening late into the night.

This follows on the heels of the first Father Tom Mystery, I liked this for the same reason I liked the first, a majority the characters are well fleshed out, the seem like real people. Okay maybe the town the live in seems a little far fetched with the Baltimore press having any interest in a small town murder or scandal when Charm city has more than both.
Father Tom seems like a real man with frustrations, desires, temptations and the like. He is no Father Brown, though comparisons are made by other characters.
The narrator does an excellent job capturing the different characters with their own tone and pace.
