This book is an inspiring adventure. You’ll learn that you can handle it well when you use the information and tools. With love, motivation for knowledge, giving and having support you’ll balance your priorities. Key aspects of parenthood are included, such creating a baby safe home, support and involvement in co-parenting, and daily fatherhood routines. The book goes through each trimester, to know how each one differs. Being there for your partner and being actively involved will serve to make the deep connections needed for family harmony. Nothing may be exactly as planned, of course, but you’ll know how to be confidant and to enjoy the special bond and experience with your child.

it is absolutely wild to me that humans are ever born. Pregnancy is a wild time for expecting parents! Fortunately, this guide hits on every stage of the process and gives both parents, not just the dads, a needed boost of confidence. I especially liked a section talking about the actual birth, and listing all of the things that might happen and what they might look like so that the non-birthing partner is ready and can stay calm, hopefully leading to a calmer experience for the birthing partner as well. I also found it interesting learning about the different ways that parents might start bonding with their child before the birth. Whether you are an expecting parent, or simply someone interested in how humans work, this book is worth a listen.
