We all know Shadow is crazy lucky but dude this book just takes it to another level. He’s both the greatest gaslighter & messiah all in 1.

Beta takes a large stage in this volume and so does nishimura… I meant Nishitani as whatever just call her the Savior. We get to learn what has happened in Japan after Cid reincarnated & how the black rose is to the story. Buckle up… the ending is hilarious

When shadows collide, all that is left is the truth. The cosmos is at the zenith. The world as we know it, is gone.

Also, this was an awesome book - another great adventure of the Cringelord, Master Shadow. If you've read and enjoyed the other three, you will love this one too.

Hilarious listen, I recommend this series if you are looking for a great comedy. I just wish they would release the books faster

So rather than Cid dealing with some loose ends from his previous life as Minoru, we get the end of human civilization on Earth. Yeah, haven't ever seen that before. At least there were no zombies this time. Beta is assuming the role of resident mad scientist in Shadow Garden, including kidnapping Akane Nishino and promising to conduct horrible experiments on her. Will Beta defect to the Cult of Diablos while she's at it? This volume was a complete waste of my time. I hope the next one is better, or at least tries to stick to the main plotlines and the author quits treading water with tired, cliché tropes.
