Sebastian Moncrieff is a villain, a traitor, and a pirate who has recently inherited an earldom he never wanted. As a man who’s committed every sin imaginable, he knows his only chance at redemption is the one woman who ever reached through to his soul of ice.

He’s kidnapped Veronica Latimer once before, and was enchanted by everything about her....

This time, when he takes her, he’ll have to admit that she’s kept his heart captive since the moment they met. But can he convince her to forgive his past in order to claim a future?

So glad the two characters that I fell for in book six finally got their happily ever after.

Another great story by Kerrigan Byrne! I do wish it was longer, but I’m glad we got some sort of follow up with Sebastian. The narrators were really good, though I do miss Derrick Perkins as the sole narrator, perhaps he’ll be back for one of the full length novels! Looking forward to the next one!

Great listen

A little mystery and a lot of romance. Kerrigan Byrne I kept me on the edge of my seat from the start. And so totally loved the narration. Shane East with Stella Hunter both displayed their soft, sensual tones that made me fall in love with Sebastian and Veronica.

Such a pleasure!

Like a sample size of the finest Belgian chocolate, Sebastian Moncrieff's story and Shane East's voice leave us feeling blissful but wanting more. I really would have enjoyed a longer novel about Moncrieff with more of his backstory, more twists and turns to the main story, etc. The novel does not feel incomplete, but in comparison with Byrne's other novels in the series, it is a little bit of a letdown only because of its length. It can also stand on its own for readers who have not read the series. There is no such thing as bad Belgian chocolate, but this is the finest kind. Savor it. Try listening to it at a slower speed just to spend more time with Shane East/Sebastian Moncrieff's seductive voice.

I love this series and Kerrigan Byrne’s stories. Although this was a short, it was very good.
Shane East and Stella Hunter are excellent narrators and good as a dual.

Very good!
