Domestic diva Sophie Winston is getting into the Halloween spirit; her decorations for a community haunted house are so good, it's scary. Not to be outdone, rival domestic diva Natasha is throwing a spooktacular Halloween party at her house. But when Sophie arrives, she discovers one of Natasha's guests dead in a Halloween display and a pale, fanged partygoer fleeing the scene. Could the killer be a real vampire - the same one rumored to have lived in Sophie's haunted house back when it was a boardinghouse? Good thing a domestic diva never runs out of garlic.

This is book five and I am hooked. Good story lines and characters, love the dog. Will continue to read as they become available. Would recommend to anyone that likes an easy fun who done it.

The constant use of the word “jaywalk (, -ing, -ed) was annoying. Just say that the character(s) crossed the street. I also didn’t understand how in all the previous books “Sophie” always claimed that “Natasha” did not steal “Mars”, but this time in the book she said that Natasha had eyes for her husband while they were still married. This book and the previous one just had me annoyed with certain inconsistencies and wording. Other than that I enjoy the storylines.

Total fun
Vampires are real? How to tell believers the truth? Lots of great costumes.
