From the New York Times best-selling author of Little Beach Street Bakery and The Bookshop on the Corner comes a delightful holiday tale full of sweetness, love, heartbreak, and happiness - perfect for fans of Debbie Macomber and Elin Hilderbrand.

Rosie Hopkins, newly engaged, is looking forward to an exciting year in the little English sweetshop she owns. But when fate deals Rosie and her boyfriend Stephen a terrible blow, threatening everything they hold dear, it's going to take all their strength and the support of their families and their friends to hold them together.

After all, don't they say it takes a village to raise a child?

I finished this book and the first thing I did was look for the next book I the series. Sadly, one does not exist. I would love to see where a Book 4 would have taken these characters.

Not Perfect but I Loved It

Darling and addictive. Christmas stories not to be missed. Jenny Colgan is my new favorite author and should not be missed. Pearl Hewitt as narrator is an absolute charmer.

Feel good, funny, well written series

I’m so glad to visit Lipton and its colorful characters again! Always a delight. There’s always the worry of it all falling apart, but the underlying comfort that something will pull it together at the last moment: it’s a nice respite from heavier readings.

Always a delight!

A mostly sweet Christmas story. Closed door/spice free, and definitely some TW that should be here (miscarriage, death of a parent on page, adoption).

Cute
