I had an opportunity to list to this audio version of Chateau and I was really impressed with the narrator on this one! The story itself is fast paced and thrilling. The narrator did an amazing job of capturing the suspenseful nature of the story. Her voice was so smooth, there were no weird breathing sounds, just a good, clean, crisp audio. Her pacing was done really well and she did an excellent job of character differentiation. I loved her voice. I never had a favorite narrator before, but Christine's voice just took that spot for me. I wish everything I listened to was narrated by her.
The plot itself is a very twisty, suspenseful, whodunnit murder that occurs during the main characters mini moon vacation. Everyone is a suspect, but I never saw the twists coming! This was very well done and I highly recommend giving this a listen!

I wasn't able to make it to the end. it never really grabbed my attention and I agree the characters never really came alive. I couldn't get myself to pay attention long enough to get to know anyone.
