Of course there can be no denying how beautifully crafted this story is. The performance was clean but seemed rushed at times. A little tension and drama might have been nice.

Classic subject

This is the one that kicked off an entire mythos that still has stories being added to it almost 100 years later. It’s classic though I wouldn’t call it Lovecraft’s best work.

The narrator was excellent. The person who did the introduction? Terrible. Couldn’t even be bothered to learn how to say “Cthulhu”.

I guess his stories would be 5 star for short stories but overall it just doesn't contain enough to overall be 5 stars but for a story that's only an hour they are great

This is an old ominous take that needs an old ominous voice. The reader was clear and capable, but I needed a more foreboding tone.
