I became a fan of Davis Bunn many years ago. This book is his best work in my opinion. The depth of mystery encased in rich history and sweet relationships, with the over arching trust in God - it's intelligent, clever, and beautiful!

The Christianity theme is strong and not overwhelming. The tory of love, redemption and hope sings through. Loved the readers ability to shift enough to indicate different characters without becoming a caricature. Very nice read

A gripping story, with well developed characters. Very lovely plot twists. I thought I know where the author was going, which was true, But the twists kept me listening to the read. The reader was great at changing her voice for the different characters.
