Cameron Diaz
Cameron Diaz shares her formula for becoming happier, healthier, and stronger in this positive, essential guide grounded in science and inspired by personal experience, a #1 New York Times bestseller.
Throughout her career, Cameron Diaz has been a role model for millions of women. By her own candid admission, though, this fit, glamorous, but down-to-earth star was not always health-conscious. Learning about the inseparable link between nutrition and the body was just one of the life-changing lessons that has fed Cameron’s hunger to educate herself about the best ways to feed, move, and care for her body. In The Body Book, she shares what she has learned and continues to discover about nutrition, exercise, and the mind/body connection.
Grounded in science and informed by real life, The Body Book offers a comprehensive overview of the human body and mind, from the cellular level up. From demystifying and debunking the hype around food groups to explaining the value of vitamins and minerals, readers will discover why it’s so important to embrace the instinct of hunger and to satisfy it with whole, nutrient-dense foods. Cameron also explains the essential role of movement, the importance of muscle and bone strength and why we need to sweat a little every day.
The Body Bookdoes not set goals to reach in seven days or thirty days or a year. It offers a holistic, long-term approach to making consistent choices and reaching the ultimate goal: a long, strong, happy, healthy life.

Where does The Body Book rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?
No. 1What was one of the most memorable moments of The Body Book?
How surprised I was that it's not necessary to go hungry, causes of feeling that way and the simple solutions.Which character – as performed by Cameron Diaz and Sandy Rustin – was your favorite?
Equally great. They sound very similar. Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?
There were many moments because it's a book of information, a reference book, a motivational labor of love and presentation was wonderful (made me smile). I think of it as generous to share so many "secrets" of health & living a well, beautiful and full life!Any additional comments?
This is not a book about losing weight. That said, I have by following some advice given in the book. I actually FEEL better generally speaking (physically, emotionally and confidently). It's all connected. My cravings are coming into alignment with what my body really wants. I've learned so much from this important book. I'm eating differently, as suggested, and it's working. Energy level up as well. This is a a book , for me, that happened to come out at a time when I was ready, open minded and willing to accept at face value what she said. It spoke to me. Not every little morsel is new information, mind you, on the other hand, as if with a friend, I listened and didn't feel like I'd wasted a moment of my life. Recommend to anyone who wants to know more about self care (men, too). Hoping she writes more books! One of the best books I've ever read
