loved it, the worst part of this whole series is me putting it down and not living in that reality. wordsmith is amazing, the Storyline is even better. easily one of my favorites. unfortunately the author passed and is not able to bless us with more awesome books.

Everyone has different tastes in Science fiction and obviously this was not for me. I purchased the full set after sampling book one, but by book four, I was listening at 1.7-2.0 speed.
While I initially enjoyed book one, by book two I felt the story/plot had taken a hard turn. The story jaringly becomes a woman empowerment dialogue that never embraces the importance of supportive relationships beyond "sisterhood".
The narrator gave each female the same breathless voice, which soon became grating and difficult to determine which character was speaking without giving one's full attention.

Started with action and ended with shopping trips, picking out matching uniforms, and wine drinking at every meeting.
