High-tech weapons, spacesuits, alien damsels in distress!

A well-deserved vacation turns disastrous when Marius arrives in a strange white room. As reality sinks in, there's a culprit he never expects: aliens. Highly advanced aliens rip him from Earth to level up in the Semo Universe. A place where wormhole portals, spaceships, energy beamers, and enhancement attributes are common. Loaded with debt, a small shuttle, and a sultry AI, he braves the vast universe one mission at a time.

I was surprised by this book, and I can't wait for more! my only issue is when the MC says 'mo, fo-sho & such' . I'm not sure if it's the narrator or actually written in the book, but it doesn't fit the MC as he is a hardcore military man, not a thug. And the fade out in the intimate scenes is VERY VERY frustrating!!! No one likes a tease! Nut up and finish the scenes. We're not kids.
Outside of that, I really like this series.

WOW! This is a great series!

Dan Raxor writes another great LitRPG story. It's rare to find sci-fi based LitRPG. This one is complete with high tech weapons, spacesuits, and of course the story wouldn't be Dan Raxor's without alien damsels in distress! Marius is an MC you want to succeed in this engaging story. The damsels are more than playtoys and are integrated well into the story. The world development is satisfactory and the overall story is well written. The LitRPG elements are just enough to make the world fun. I look forward to Dan's next book! Audio Version: Gabriel Michael and Veronica Adler do a great job with their respective characters and the overall narration.

A great scifi based LitRPG complete with damsels!

I can not begin to properly express how much I loved this book! The MC, his women, crew and their development! The storytelling, its pacing and the plot weaving!

The narrator, who is quickly becoming one of my favorite male narrators. Right up in the realm of Travis Baldree and Heath Miller. But neither of them do harem, so long live the king of harem, Gabriel Michael!

Veronica also did an amazing job with the various female characters and adding character to their voices and how they spoke.

I can’t wait for the next book and hope it is soon!

Oh man!!! Easily the best Science Fantasy Harem!

“StarCutter - A Universal Mercenary” is an ambitious effort at a space opera adventure, with harem elements playing a minor, but appreciated, role in the book.

MC Marius is likable, but fair warning - he’s definitely an OP character! His slow burn harem members include two AI’s, a freed slave, and potentially in the next book - an enemy ship commander. Each woman is nicely unique with her own personality.

The story is quite complex, and only occasionally gets bogged down in details over a technology or alien histories. Marius goes from mission to mission, building up his stats as he vanquishes baddies under seemingly insurmountable odds. Marius occasionally gets help from the godlike overseers who brought him to a new universe from earth.

Much of the story, and the MC’s character, reminds me of “Nebula Lord” by Ryan Eisenhower (a pen name for Marcus Sloss). If you liked “Nebula Lord” (which I did very much!), you’ll enjoy “Starcutter”. I suspect Dan Raxor is another of Marcus Sloss’ many pen names, but the writing style of Dan Raxor does have a bit of a unique style.

I enjoyed the narration; Gabriel Michael does an excellent job (I’ve always wished he’d stuck around to finish Logan Jacobs’ Skulduggery series - he and fellow original narrator Rebecca Woods were absolutely fantastic!) and I enjoyed new-to-me Veronica Adler’s performances.

I rate “StarCutter” 5*, and hope that there is a sequel (or two).

Action-packed space opera with an OP MC.
