I mean she really needs a weekly podcast ‘ I can hardly wait to make them ALL! Her cozy way of talking about her recipes and creations is sooo engaging. I could listen to her describe her makes all day and still want more. Be prepared to have to make a beeline for the kitchen ! I made the turkey meatloaf and smashed potatoes first and indeed, my skeptical husband said it was the best he’d had and loved the potatoes. I’m so excited for another day to make a Smitten Kitchen favorite!

Wow. I’m writing this In between bites of a cooking sheet full of pb&j breakfast bars. I mixed them up as Deb (my new bff) was narrating her third recipe in this audio book and by the 10th recipe - they were being tossed back into my eager mouth.
This book is worth however many credits you have saved up (buy more if necessary). You will be tempted NOT to share it with the other cook in your life in an attempt to impress them with your new culinary playbook.

Deb Perelman’s delightful personality comes out in this audiobook highlighting her most recent cookbook. Although it comes with a PDF and you can download all the recipes that she talks about- Of course I now own the cookbook and can’t wait to get started. What a novel concept to have a conversation about the authors cookbook with the author! Enjoyed every minute of it.

I was dubious, but also intrigued, by the concept of a cookbook audiobook that was commentary and tips. This has exceeded all my expectations! Deb is a delightful narrator who truly makes me want to try every recipe!
