I purchased the bundle which includes the first 6 books in the series. The stories themselves were enjoyable. Some of the things that happen to this woman as she's working her way through her bucket list are quite funny. However, I feel like there was a lot of repetition. Each book is just around an hour long. Every time you get into a new bucket list item (i.e. new book) you get the same back story and information. In my opinion it could have all been put into one book. That could keep things flowing more smoothly and get rid of a lot of unnecessary "recap" of what's going on.

The narration was good for the most part. She had a little trouble when switching into a couple of the characters. The Italian cooking teacher sounded like a bad version of Dracula. But overall there was nothing terrible enough that made it so I couldn't enjoy the books. And I'm pretty picky about my narrators.

*Update: I just listened to book 6 and there was some pretty cringeworthy narration... But I made it through.

I admit to first wanting to read this series just because of the title. I like this sassy full figured intrepid explorer whose expectations are high in making her life more interesting. I have my own bucket list and it led me on so very many interesting roads. Great series and definitely a fun read!

I absolutely loved this series! Although the stories are short, they are very fulfilling! This book is full of action, adventure, humor and inspiration! The narration was amazing and will keep you entertained! The author did a great job with the characters and plot. I look forward to reading more books in this series! I was given this free review copy audiobook at my request and have voluntarily left this review.
