A billionaire murdered...

The murders of a prominent Las Vegas couple sends shockwaves through the community. With no active leads, the LVPD Homicide Unit is growing desperate.

A detective with a history of violence...

Brought in as a consultant, Detective Jon Stanton discovers that there's more to this case than anyone is revealing to him. The trail is leading him down a dark path, one that many in the Las Vegas PD don't want him to uncover.

A killer with no conscience...

In a city full of moral decadence, Stanton combs the underbelly in search of a killer so brazen, he commits his crimes in full public view. Hindered at every turn by a police department unwilling to help him, Stanton is left alone to make a chilling discovery: The killer may be one of their own.

I’ve loved this series so far and can’t wait to dive into more! Great story line, narrating, and characters.

Great character development. Stanton is a very interesting character. Recommend the book, narrator could have been a little better.

Love methos

This was my least favorite book by Victor Methos! It was hard to follow, most of the characters sounded the same and the story was just to complicated. Did not like this book at all.

Disappointed

Love this author, but this book was just okay. Seemed a little contrived. Horrible narration that definitely detracted.

Just okay.

The storyline was good although maybe not as good as the previous 2 from the John Stanton series. I just didn’t like the narration. At times it reminded of sitting in 4th grade listening to everyone in class get a chance to read out loud just monotone and blocky.

The story itself is good. The narrator is difficult to listen to at times.
