I'll start with the narrators. I'm completely unfamiliar with either. But they are top notch. Like, stellar. The emotion they put forth is unmatched, and I will be seeking them out for other books. Now the story is fantastic. I will say that there is some unhealthy dependency. But because they love each other so much you kind of get over it. I truly fell in love with how it described break up in a way that a lot of books won't. It talked about the absolute devastation that someone can feel when heartbroken. So many books want to glaze over this and make everybody seem so impervious to heartbreak. When that's just not true. I think we've all been where Egan was at one point. And it tore my heart out.!! I cried for three or four chapters straight. Like sobbed. But the book will put you back together in the most wonderful way. The spice? Fantastic! Never repetitive or boring. Definitely heavy but not overwhelming that it takes away from the story. But it's hot. So deliciously hot!!
