Interesting continuation of Avry's story Like with the first book, there seems to be a lot going on without much happening. The mystery of the lilies has yet to be resolved, so I'm still curious to find out what happens next.

This is the second book of a trilogy. The story picks up pace in this book as you are kept guessing as to who is good or evil. The conflict of who will rule the land from the fist book, becomes even more tangled with addition of more contenders. The main character continues her struggle to preserve life and goodness during a time when people find it easier to stray to unsavory ways. The plot is exciting and unpredictable. Hard to put this one down.

I loved the first book in this series and looked forward to this one. Although good, it was not as good as the first. The story line dragged on without the 'I can't wait to hear more'.
I found myself thinking 'get on with it, will ya, already!'
I liked the narration quite well, and will probably take a chance when the next book comes out in this series...i hope there is a next one...lol
