This was chefs kiss! The only thing that pissed me off was some of the decisions Aron kept making 😑 and the over reactions the male main character kept making. Other than that this book was really really good!!!!

This is my new favorite couple from Kira Cole. The plot and characters were well developed and the narrators did an amazing job bringing them to life. The story had me experiencing all kinds of emotions from excited, worried, and anxious. And I loved the ending in the second book!!!

Wow! This audiobook is so freaking good. The narrators did an amazing job that really roped me in. I had to listen to this in one sitting. Erin meets Demyan and they have an amazing one night stand. 3 years later they run into each other again and all chaos breaks loose. The chemistry is still there and even with all the lies and betrayal these two forge a bond. So much mafia business is going on in the background and it threatens their fragile union. This book is full of non stop mafia action, emotional turmoil and lots of steam. Unfortunately it ends with a nail biting cliffhanger... I highly recommend this 5 star book.

I have to say I loved this book and didn't want to stop listening, The narration is perfect, Maeve York and James Cassidy bring this excellent story to vivid life.

Erin and Demya shared a one-night stand when she was assigned the wrong room on a business trip; they never shared their names, but the chemistry they shared was incredible. Erin didn't know that this sexy and intense man was a Pakhan in the Russian Mafia, so when their epic night resulted in a pregnancy, she elected to keep the baby and bring it up alone without trying to contact the father even though her brother, a PI, could have helped her find him.

Three years later, whilst attending her college friend's wedding, she sees him again and is shocked to discover that the sexy father of her child is her friend, the bride's brother. During the wedding, there is an incident, and the bride is kidnapped, and Demya decides that, as she was almost taken too, she must be in on the plot against him, so he takes her prisoner. As soon as she can, she escapes and rushes to collect Sasha, her child and get away from Demya. Of course, Demya goes after her, and when he finds them, he knows instantly that Sasha is his son. A son he considers she should have told him about, and he refuses to listen to her reasons or explanations. He decides to punish her by keeping Sasha away from her.

This story flowed well and held my attention easily. The characters are so well developed, you feel like you are getting to know them as you listen to their story. Their chemistry is palpable, hot and undeniable. The storyline is intense and packed with suspicion, suspense and mistrust.

I can’t wait to listen to more of Demyan and Erin's story.
