A good follow up to the first book pacing for some maybe a bit fast but I enjoy it doesn’t get bogged down by side stories.

I like that it is pulling more of a unique perspective of the LitRPG genere. I feel like it is pretty saturated right now and this stands out from the exhausted wake up in a new world or apocalypse style

I finished the second book, but the entire time the underlying goal of the main characters was just to get stronger to beat this almost omnipotent force known as the void. I didn’t really feel as if the main character had a personal more tethered/grounded goal for him to achieve, and this book was organized in such a way that the climax and natural conclusion was several chapters before the end of the book. Even though it was decently, entertaining, I have chosen to not continue reading this series. I wish the author the best of luck for the future of this series and his other work.

Well thought out. Love the magic and world building. MC is both likable and not an idiot which accounts for A LOT for me. Magic system is unique and I actually really like how it’s individual to the person.
